Custom muscle cars and hot rods can be artfully designed to meet the customer's wishes. The Phoenix staff , under the direction of owners, Glenn Smith and Ken Swenson, offers a combined experience of several decades in restoration and design. Unique Service Phoenix Rod & Custom offers its unique hand-crafted service taking a vehicle through every phase of restoration or restructuring. While the company can provide a relatively fast turnover, when absolutely necessary, the staff prefers to have sufficient time to provide the loving care and attention to detail for which it has become known throughout the country. Complete fabrication is offered here with vehicles being taken from the drawing board to completion. Some customers arrive with a design in mind; others develop their concept after seeing some of the work completed at Phoenix. Still others may be seeking a modification of an existing car. The design team can take the project from the design board and build from the sketches that result when it is a vehicle that did not previously exist. Therefore, the end product, be it a muscle car or a hot rod remains unique. Many of the cars coming in for our attention already carry license plates attesting to their historic designation. We are privileged to be the singular company allowed to work on these marvelous machines. We like to state that we have as much pride in our efforts with these vehicles as their owners have in owning them. In some cases, that may be a misstatement, for owners often laughingly tell us that their cars own them.
